Heard a sorrowful and disturbing new yesterdae nite..
Someone's life has been altered drastically by a little piece of new he received.
When I was told..my first reaction was disbelieving and eventually after the shock..Sadness and numbness set in.
Imagine how it feels for the family, the uncertainty, the depression, unhappiness, the fear of the unknown and the feeling of betrayal.
If it was me, I dun know how to pick up my life after that, what the use of clinging on to a future that I cannot forsee. What the use of planning for the future when I know the time given is limited and my life is like a ticking bomb...ready to go blast the moment I turn my back to it.
False optimism hurts and it draining to try to pretend everything is fine when it is not...
Clinging on to medical intervention is like a mirage of an oasis in the desert...there is absolutely no cure...just a prolong of suffering and misery as they tries ways and means to delay the inevitable..DEATH
But what else is there to be done...every little second and minute counts..there a desperate need to be surrounded by loved ones and to see them...and I will gladly accept any means that allowed me to do so...
I doubt everything will be bright and sunny..and it going to be an uphill struggle for the whole family...mere words cannot cure what ailing...only actions will prove that we support and stand by them.. ..

well...breaking a record for sure....2 posts within such a short period of time!
Wanted to write down this little incidence before I forget...

Went to my gym at Paragon today...and after the session..decide to board the Express bus 518 which went to my hse directly..
everything seems to be going well..until we reach the expressway whereby the first part of it is a upward slope. Suddenly the lights start flicking (like in a horror movie!) and the bus engine dies..& everything was silent...
The bus driver tries starting the engine for a couple of times but to no avail...and then finally it starts! But before the bus could go forward, it rolls backwards!! So the bus driver has to kill the engine immediately...
Well... What happens next was what prompt me to publish this post.. ..I was quite amazed to find everybody unfazed by the incidence, in fact there were quite a number of laughing and smiling faces...no cursing, no angry shouts or ugly comments toward the driver. In fact a few passengers offer to get down on the bus to help direct the traffic to stay away from the stalled bus.
Haha..finally a comment reaches toward the rear of the bus whereby I was standing..this lady pass the message to me and several others in a laughing tone that the bus driver remarks that the bus could not take the strain of the load (too many ppl) while going uphill...and she actually requests for us to alight from the bus so she can drive a distance and then we board the bus..
Again...lots of laughing comments about the weight issue...and everybody was cooperative...get down the bus and start treking in the middle of the expressway..Saw a nice driver who stops and afford a lady who has a little child with her a ride.. (but lots of drivers just gave us funny looks and zoom past us.. .. )
The bus moves a certain distance and up we go but it STALLS again..ahaha...the horror effects come on again...and down we go...for our impromptu trek thru e highway...and again board the bus when it moves a distance..FINALLY this time...it works and the bus was able to travel the remaining distance, not smoothly but at least moving..
Throughout this incidence...I didn't heard any complaints or grumbles...seems like we Singaporean can be quite gracious and nice when we want to..hee :) There was a couple of males passengers who help to direct the traffic and generally help the bus driver gets everything done smoothly..
Of cos there were defintely ugly side too..I saw passengers stand up from their seats so that they can alight from the bus and when they return..their seats were taken by other passengers..
There were also 3 SBS buses that passes us by without stopping to help at all!
But all in all..this incidence does leave me with a nice feeling..seeing how cooperative and gracious we can be of each other.. ..

Better update before my goldfish takes a dip and run away with my memory.. . ...

My colleagues gave me and Tracia a surprise Bday gift on wednesday...they order a cake which is reallie nice and I had a big slice...(imagine a normal cake split into 8 portion...and u know how big one slice is...haha)
Gave me a precious moment jewelry holder and it reallie sweet...hee I like it..
Everytime on my bday, without fail..I get ask this Q "do u like the present".... hmmm can't expect me to say "NO!" right..haha
But I reallie appreciate the thoughtfulness and gesture behind the gifts and there rarely a time (in fact almost nil) where I will dislike a gift that I received. A gift encompasses much more than its monetary value and I find that I will appreciate the items that I received more than if I had bought the same item myself..hee
Feeling reallie tired these few days..ever since last sun, I had been keeping late nights (not sleeping until 2-3am)...not sure what I had been up to (hee) but it has been affecting my mood (grouchier and grouchier) and I think I need to catch up with my sleep goddess....
Also, posted my application for my dream job (keep ur fingers crossed for me and hope I got invited for an interview!)...big step for me to take...always thinking one step ahead and wonder will I be devastated if I dun get the job. But better left that thought to the nite where I can't sleep and need a good fright as I start conjuring up scary scenarios.. ..hee
But seriously....my work getting monotonous and tedious...and I reallie have no motivation to carry on...envious of my colleagues who had moved on or is moving on to better job opportunities and I really wish them the best...

Oh Gosh!! JADE...my favourite Jewellery of all time..hee well except for Emerald...Given to me by my dear dear colleagues cum friends...there 3 of them (Princess Trace, Blur Ju & Cool Yv!!) Might looks small on the image..but trust me..It BIG...haha bigger size than a $1 coin.. I reallie glad to know them..though onli for a short period of time..feel like we know each other reallie well and click like we are the BESTEST of friends even when we are of reallie different backgrounds & age.. hee think it helps by the fact that we all act like half our age most of the time!
This is made personally by BY!! another one of my very close friend.. .see how talented she is..hee. Simple and elegant and the best thing is : ITS GREEN!!! hee hee...matches with most of my clothes.. told her that when I finally get round to setting up an online store...I defintely feature her works! Wait for Me Okie!!!
Ser's Gift to Me.. .. .she still remeberI love green.. .been friends for a reallie long time..long each since we were 13 yrs old! how times flies...when we get tgth..still as wacky as ever..I think the two of us are the only ppl who can tolerate each other so well..haha..she treated me to Thai food and it was great..but can't remeber the shop..hee just know tt it was in Marina SQ..n yeah yeah I can still remeber I own u lotsa photos.. .dun keep harping on it..hee..will become old before u know it!

Just a update: went to Suki Sushi...well. .. food okay..and I think that it reallie value for money...take note: if going there ...do order the fried IKA..it GREAT!
Bought my new handphone already! Thanks to my sweet pals (BY, HQ, Win & ML), who gave me an angbao to buy. Got the Motorola Razr V3(x) but not able to display as my camera spoilt! Sorrie gals...show it off to u all when we meet up..

Been bugging my family, my friends and my colleagues about what phone model I should buy, there like so many models but I haven't see one that really strike a chord at me. But think I might get Motorola Razr V3x..seems pretty cool..
Thinking seriously of getting a new job.. .signz..been talking abt it for like how many ages ago..but didn't act on it.. the thing is..I like so comfortable in my existing job that there seem to be no real hurry to leave it.. of cos the fact that I will not get any promotion or pay rise for the immediate future is a big big or shall I say HUGE drawback! haha
Well... just realise after all my ramblings..I didn't introduce myself.. though why I should do so when the blog is meant for close ones..haha..but well..
